We are pleased to introduce our second patented project, the Kontainer 3X.

⚡️The Kontainer 3X ⚡️is a container designed for emergency situations and conflict zones, offering three times the capacity while maintaining standard dimensions during transportation.

✔️fully equipped according to the intended use.

The Kontainer 3X serves as a vital resource for Civil Protection services and organizations like the United Nations, operating in challenging environments.

But that’s not all!

The container is versatile and can be utilized in a variety of contexts.

For instance, it can be used as a home or residential structure. This trend has emerged in recent years as an alternative solution for sustainable and low-cost housing. Alternatively, it can be deployed in emergency scenarios, providing safe and easily installable structures, often in harsh climatic conditions such as deserts, snow, ice, or strong winds.

Let’s explore the most common applications:

Modular Homes: The KONTAINER 3X can be transformed into a modular home, where multiple containers are combined to create larger living spaces. Containers can be connected side by side or stacked to create various configurations and house sizes.

Prefabricated Homes: The KONTAINER 3X can also be used as a component for prefabricated houses. In this case, the containers are converted into fully functional housing units in a factory and then transported to the site for quick assembly.

Temporary Housing or Emergency Shelters: The KONTAINER 3X can be utilized to provide temporary housing in emergency situations, such as after an earthquake or a natural disaster. It can be quickly installed to offer a safe shelter for those affected.

Structural features ⬇️

  1. It expands, tripling its external volume, reaching the following minimum internal dimensions: 6.14 meters in width, 5.15 meters in length, and a minimum height of 2.13 meters;
  2. The structure is made entirely of S275 JR carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating;
  3. It has thermal insulation with a 50mm thick insulating panel gap;
  4. It is suitable for both extremely cold environments, such as high mountain areas, and extremely hot environments, such as deserts;
  5. It is pre-equipped for electrical and plumbing systems;
  6. It supports snow loads in alpine areas;
  7. Its extension system is fully mechanical and can be operated using a power drill, allowing full extension in less than one hour;
  8. It does not require additional support points when extended, as all parts remain connected to the main body;
  9. Equipped with a front opening 2 meters wide, a rear opening 1 meter wide, and side openings (central or lateral) 0.9 meters wide for each wall;
  10. In transport mode (not extended), the container offers a free internal volume of 18 m³.
